This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Do you remember how hard it was to sit still in class? My students need to wiggle, and they need to learn. This is a way for them to do both!
We are a group of active five and six year olds that struggle to stay in our seats and do our work.
We try our best to follow all of the directions and sit still but sometimes it's just impossible. This project would allow us to wiggle at our seats without distracting our friends.
My Project
The wiggle seats are made of a strong rubber and are filled with regular air. It feels like like we are sitting on a small balloon. The resistance bands are tied at the bottom of the chair. This way we can kick our legs against them without hurting anyone. It allows our legs to be busy but our hands to be free.
Please help us get the wiggles out so we can stay out of trouble and learn.
We try our best to follow all of the directions, but the wiggle seats and resistance bands will help us pay attention.
