This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Kindness to others is something we practice daily, and last year, we began writing monthly letters of gratitude to everyone who helps to make our school a great place to learn. We continued showing gratitude by creating our Kindness Trolley and delivering kindness to adults across our campus.
During our Kindness Trolley’s final journey across campus last year, our Kindness Ambassadors returned to our room and reported the sad news that the wheel had fallen off the cart.
We attempted to repair it, but it was not repairable, so we are requesting a CLAX cart to use as our new Kindness Trolley. It will make its way across our campus monthly, steered by students who have demonstrated their ability to practice responsibility regularly to deliver items including snacks, water, and positive affirmations to show our gratitude to everyone who makes our school a great place to learn.
