My Students

I teach an energetic group of 11 year olds that love learning. I am new to this grade and school and don't have any materials to meet their needs. I moved in empty handed into an empty room. I would love help stocking our learning environment with the essentials that most classrooms have. Walk in our door and witness first hand the wonder of hands-on science. Join us in our fun by being a contributor and help us fill this room!

My Project

Imagine doing a science experiment that requires you to weigh your experiment before you begin, mid-experiment, and after your experiment for multiple days. Now imagine doing this with 25 students per class and only one scale.

My students have been troopers all year when their experiments require a digital scale and they have to take turns waiting for the one that is in our classroom.

If my students could have one scale per table instead, we could maximize classroom time exploring instead of waiting. Each student would get his/her opportunity to discover the mass of his/her materials/specimen. Please help me stock my classroom with science equipment we greatly need.
