My Project

Hi! My name is Coach Mac. I am an elementary PE teacher. Last year, my fourth graders always asked me if we could play volleyball. Although I love volleyball, it is not a unit in my curriculum. I thought their curiosity would die down after they learned other sports. Now, in fifth grade, they have learned other sports, but they still have this passion for volleyball. They ask for volleyballs for their birthdays and try to bump it with their friends at recess. Although I can't reasonably teach volleyball to ALL of my students, I've decided to create a lunch-time volleyball league (there are about thirty students interested).

For this volleyball league, we need two new nets.

I simply don't have the funding for these nets. If we had the equipment, I could create a volleyball unit for all of my 4th-6th graders. I know that with the right help, these kids could cultivate their love for volleyball.
