Your support has made an immediate and meaningful difference for my students. \r\nThe updated technology has brought a new sense of excitement to our classroom learning environment. The students love the bright colors of the headphones, and they are so excited about the wireless mice. In third grade the students are required to do state testing for the first time. This is all done on the computer. We had headphones that were 3-4 years old. Students are on laptops and many struggle to navigate with just using the touch pad. Having a wireless mouse reduces the number of cords and makes it easier to manipulate all the different testing modalities. More importantly, students are navigating our new testing platforms with ease-something that was extremely challenging with the outdated equipment. \r\nStudents are now more eager to learn and because of your gift, they now have the tools that match their curiosity and potential. Their engagement and focus have increased, and their confidence has grown. Our learning environment feels refreshed. They are enjoying the learning process in ways that simply weren't possible before.\r\nThank you again for your thoughtful generosity and for investing in our students' success. We are truly grateful.","fullyFundedDate":1755778340901,"projectUrl":"project/used-technology-is-in-need-of-an-upgrade/9614459/","projectTitle":"Used Technology Is in Need of an Upgrade","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Vaughan","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp3606283_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1472709878103","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3606283"},{"teacherId":10240932,"projectId":9692732,"letterContent":"Your generosity has opened the doors to a world many of our 6th graders had never truly experienced before—the world of novels. Because of your support, our students now have access to full-length books that stretch their imaginations, challenge their thinking, and invite them into stories much bigger than a short reading passage ever could.\r\nFor many of our students, this is the first time they have had consistent opportunities to read real novels in class. They are exploring complex characters, rich settings, and layered plots—experiences that deepen comprehension and spark curiosity. With each chapter, they are learning to follow a story across hundreds of pages, building stamina and confidence as readers.\r\nWe have witnessed remarkable changes. Students who once hesitated to pick up a book now eagerly ask, \"Can we keep reading?\" They groan in disappointment when our daily reading time ends and celebrate when they get to begin a new chapter. They are connecting with stories in powerful ways—discovering new genres, seeing themselves in characters, and imagining worlds far beyond their own.\r\nYour support made this possible. You helped bring novels into their hands, and those novels are shaping readers who are more confident, more engaged, and more excited to learn.
