This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Music stands make a big difference in learning because they provide a stable and convenient platform for holding sheet music or electronic devices like tablets. By keeping sheet music at eye level and easily accessible, music stands enable musicians to focus on their playing without having to constantly shift their attention to find their place in the music. This not only improves the learning experience but also helps foster good posture and playing technique. Overall, music stands promote a more organized and efficient practice or performance environment, ultimately contributing to better learning outcomes.
My goal for this project is to give students up-to-date equipment in order for them to succeed in their music classes.
This will help them pay more attention to finer details like intonation, and posture.
What makes my students so special is their mentality to improve their skills and grow into better musicians and people. They don't give up easily and want to be challenged because not only do they see what they're capable of they see success in many forms whether that is doing well on a playing test, memorizing music, or being able to play a song with little to no mistakes. These students have always been able to get over the hill and there is nothing that will stop them from being successful. I want to be able to provide them with strong equipment that will not fail them.
