This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Each of my primary students with special needs learn in different ways. I am looking for some new teaching and learning items to help them with their academics. The folder games come with such a variety and hit on different skills and concepts that our students learn throughout the year. It allows for a fun hands-on learning session. They are self-checking as well so students may work independently. The phonics tools are also hands-on and mirror strategies that we teach our youngest readers. We are also in need of a cuddle ball. This allows for students to feel safe and release some stress. What is best about all of these items are portable as I travel throughout the school to implement specialized educational learning plans.
