This is our motto.
Throughout the year we strive to make our little corner of the world more diverse and interesting through our art. The artwork on display helps to brighten our days, even when things seem tough.
As a school district that is considered urban and low income with 100% free lunches, it can sometimes be difficult to obtain the supplies necessary for assignments and we often either have to make do with what's available, become creative with available supplies, or use my own money to supply an assignment or PBIS rewards. These students are our future and well-rounded individuals are needed to make this world go around!
My Project
This school year is full of unknowns and what-ifs. When the school year begins in the fall, I won’t be able to use my classroom for awhile (limiting travel within the school) so I will be traveling from room to room. The materials in this project will make traveling easier so I can store supplies on each floor, so I can maximize my time and effort into preparing for lessons and sanitizing supplies as well. There is also a UV sanitizer as well to make sure I can sanitize materials in a pinch between classes since the time is so short.
Being a traveling teacher isn’t ideal, but with these supplies we can make it work!
It will make transporting items and supplies to each classroom easier, allowing for a more types of lessons to be completed as well as helping to keep supplies organized and sanitized for students to use.
