My Project
Many of my students have experienced trauma in their lives, such as loss of a parent, violence in the community, or incarceration of a loved one. The Trauma Informed Classroom course objectives are to identify various traumas affecting learners in schools today, identify the key components of a trauma informed school/classroom, and implement trauma sensitive strategies.
This Trauma Informed Classroom course will equip me with the tools needed to develop specific behavior plans and strategies to support students with childhood trauma.
These trauma-informed behavior plans and strategies will help students be more successful in the classroom. The course is self-paced, so it is convenient to take on my time schedule.
