My Students

The history of technology! What a fascinating topic to discuss with my students, most of whom do not even know what a typewriter is. That is how quickly our world has changed.

I teach 128 eighth grade students.

They are at a great age to understand the importance of history, especially as it has lead to cell phones, computers and electronics. Our school educates third through eighth grade students. We are our own school district, including the kindergarten through second grade at another school campus. We are in a coastal community in a very small city. My students would like your support for this important project. They are living in a digital world, help me educate them on how they got here.

My Project

I would love to have a REDCAT system in my classroom, because the students pay a lot more attention when it is being used. I just recently observed my peer using it in his classroom and it really makes a huge difference. We will be using it to study the digital revolution. What would the world today be like without technology? My students gasp at the idea of not having a cell phone or computer. Wait until they see what a difference an amplifier makes.

You can make a difference in my classroom by helping my students pay more attention and hear better.
