This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our third grade students have been through so many challenges this school year. Right before Christmas break, almost our entire class tested positive for COVID. It was a frightening time for all of us, but especially for the kids and their families at home. They came back after break and were more motivated to learn than ever. The students deserve something special to use throughout the summer. Many of our students have to stay inside their apartments for the summer, so this will give them fun things to do with their family members. We will give these gift baskets to the students at the end of the year celebration!
