My students need these storage benches so that they have somewhere to sit and read besides the floor or their desk! These benches will also allow for extra storage in a already tight space!

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are a group of fun loving kids who want to learn! Many of my students are English Language Learners and have limited exposure to English at home, so as their teacher it is my responsibility to expose them to as much as possible. My school has limited resources and we work hard to provide as much for our students as possible.

This is what my school is all about. We try to give our students all of the knowledge we can, however we can, so that they are able to continue and grow into amazing young people who will change the world.
My Project
The storage benches for my class will not only allow my students extra seating to complete their work but they will also allow the class extra space to store their supplies. Our class is tight on storage and on places to sit and read or complete a task. These benches will allow the students the opportunity to move around the room and sit in other places.
Nobody can sit all day at a desk and with these benches the students' wouldn't have to.
These benches will be used for independent reading but also for group lessons as well as group work time.
