My students are a mix of kids from our school as well as other nearby schools that is closing down. Despite the fact that some of them are moving to a new school, they are excited to learn and eager to make new friendships this year!
Being at a technology-immersion school, the students love to learn about science, engineering, and coding!
Despite being at different levels, a strong classroom community keeps us together so that we can learn some new amazing things!
My Project
Help me give my students lamps for the classroom so that we can make our classroom cozier and a more comfortable place to learn. My room can be dark in the morning and the harsh ceiling lights make the room uninviting. These lamps will help make the room a better place for the kids to learn and focus!
I will use the shirts and iron-on vinyl to make custom "Camp Half Blood" t-shirts for my class as we have been devouring the book series during read-aloud.
I have been bringing the world of Percy Jackson and the Olympians to life throughout the year by making fun-themed activities and sending mail to the class from the book characters. These shirts will help them not only feel like a team as they go on their final quest to save the school, but also be a life-long keepsake from their 4th grade year!
