My students need an iPod and a portable speaker system to go with it, so that we can replace the use of scratched CD's to listen to audio stories, and music.

Our school is facing budget challenges as most schools are, but as a teacher I have committed myself to help my students achieve and broaden their horizons. t
My students are mostly economically disadvantaged, but they are hard workers and thrive on the excitement of learning.
I try to find new ways to present subject matter in a fun and interesting way. Their parents are very helpful, and interested in their children's achievement and it shows in the attitudes of their children.
My Project
Some of my students need help with their reading, by listening to stories on audio, it helps them listen to the proper intonation and pronunciation of words, which will help them be better readers. Also, it allows students practice their critical thinking skills during class discussion of stories, without letting their limited reading skills hinder them
This is very important to my students because by donating you will be single-highhandedly showing my students that they are an important part of our future society and that it's members recognize it.
