This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The globe will support student learning during social studies as well as our units related to the solar system, explorers, and Native Americans. Students will be able to use the globe when learning about eclipses and the weather and climate unit in science. The microscope and slides will engage students in hands-on activities during our science units. The books will be great resources when learning about explorers and Native Americans. Students can also refer back to these books as they engage in STEM activities like coding and designing. The folders will allow students to organize their work in color coded folders.
