My Project
My students are creative thinkers who inspire me daily. My passion is teaching and I am always looking for effective ways to reach and teach all of my students each day as they set and reach personal goals each quarter. One way to motivate student learning is with group or buddy work. Students sit on pillows on a large rug, gathered in groups to work on problem based activities, participate in accountable talk, and share novel book study reads and ideas. Sitting on the carpet creates a warm, comfortable, and relaxing space for learning.
