This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work at a Title I school and want to give my students an equal chance for success. They deserve the tools to learn and a safe, calm learning environment. Everyday I call my kids to the floor for interactive learning. However, they have nothing to sit on. The rectangular carpet will be for them to sit on during morning meeting and ELA. The circular rug, chair, and floor seats will be for the library and the calming corner.

Many of the kids cannot afford everyday supplies.

Please help them build the basics to participate in class. 10-year-olds are very active, and sometimes they get booboos. Please help supply Band-Aids. Often our class doesn't have air conditioning. Please help them with their hygiene by supplying deodorant.
