This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach a manajorie of students in my classroom. Some of these students have specials needs and are sometimes misunderstood. Some students have sensory needs and can't focus due to this circumstance. I want to create a sensory area and provide sensory toys that will help them to become successful in the classroom.

The sensory toys and equipment will help students to focus better and help direct emotional placement.

In my classroom, I want to take the meaning of inclusion to another level and this project will be the start of making it happen.
