it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I'm building a Self-Care Station in my reading corner! I need some more fidget toys and brain books to stock the station. I've chosen some joke books, a puzzle book, and optical illusion book that my students can use when they need a brain break. I've also picked a variety of sensory toys to help ground kids when they're over/under stimulated.
Students will be able to go to the Self-Care Station during breaks and in times of distress.
I work with 9th graders at a very large school. Stress levels are high, and the students haven't learned how to care for their mental health yet. They can learn regulation strategies from the posters and practice resetting in healthy ways.
