My Project

The Secret Story Phonics Class Kit is a great way to help teach my amazing ELD students phonics skills in a fun way that will allow them to remember the phonics skills that will help them become successful readers. These logical explanations are shared in the form of “secret” stories, which are the secret reasons WHY letters make all of the crazy sounds that they do when they get together in words. Secret Stories® is a brain-based approach to traditional phonics instruction that accelerates learner access to the reading and writing code. My ELD students need a lot more visuals and with the secret stories and visual posters, my students will get the extra support they need to become successful readers.
