Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a new teacher looking to make a supportive classroom environment where every student feels safe, happy, and ready to learn. I want my students to feel as though this space is their home away from home, and where they can be their true selves, free to share about themselves, their experiences, and more. Part of this is having books where they can see themselves, and inspire them to be exactly who they are. I hope you are able to help me make this dream a reality and a place where my students can learn and thrive. Thank you for your support!
