This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The Irrigation System Kit, Heavy Duty Garden Hose, Plant Tissue Macronutrient Kit, and other items will help our students grow in our new glass greenhouses. They can monitor plant health by testing plant tissues to see if they display the proper nutrients.

Understanding the balance between water conservation and proper nutrient levels will help our students see what is necessary for successful growth.

They will be able to see how nutrient uptake is essential for plant health.

Automating the water supply will help us maintain progress in the greenhouses during school breaks so we don't lose ground with our growth.
