My Project
Fun, engaging, exciting books and activities often attract students to our school library. These books and materials will motivate all students, including reluctant library users, to visit and check out reading materials. My goal is to make our library a safe and magical space that all of our students want to come to.
The first step to becoming a reader is to get students in the library's doors.
The more kids read the stronger they become; strong readers have more opportunities for life-long success. By creating a fun and engaging space with sensory floor tiles and providing fun books, all students will be excited to visit our library. How-to-draw and I Spy books are non-threatening ways to build literacy skills and excite kids about books. These materials will open doors for our readers to engage in literary success!
