My Students
The students at my school are highly motivated to meet new challenges, especially when it comes to learning new technologies. We are the only campus in our district to move to a 1:1 program where every student has a school provided Chromebook or a laptop from home. Most classes use Google Classroom to streamline assignment, projects, and tests as well as to reduce the amount of paper we use every day. In addition to being academically motivated, our campus has one of the most spirited student bodies I've ever come across. Just come by one of our amazing rallies to see it in person!
My Project
A new class set of rulers will help our Art students immensely. Anyone who works with their hands will tell you, to get the job done right, you need the right tools. Due to their transparent design and gridded format, these new C-Thru rulers are the right tool for nearly every Art job. Not only are they well suited for standard measuring and built to last, they're perfect for perspective drawings as well. Our current supply of rulers is a mixed bag of bent, chipped, cracked, faded, wooden, metal, and plastic. With a new class set of C-Thru rulers, every student can finally measure up to the challenges of Art class!
