My Students
A typical day in my classroom is a mix of routine with new and exciting adventure!
Third graders! My class is made up of 16 boys and 7 girls. Our school, is a two-story newer school. It is in a rapidly growing suburban area. My active, energetic class thrives on music and movement. I have taught them dances, songs, and drumming with the limited resources I have.
My Project
With the rhythm instruments, I will be able to engage each student with participation. Also, with the hand drum I can lead movement lessons. The Cd's will help guide the instruction for my class as well as each of the third grade classes in my school(we rotate).
I am so excited to plan for better instruction for my music curriculum! I use a songbook from college (1986) to teach music. With these new supplies I will be able to make music come alive for my students.
