it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love technology. I have class sets of various coding platforms like Wonder Robots, AdaFruit, and Edison Robots. They are a great way to teach coding. So, I decided to turn this robotic wonderland into a STREAM unit that crosses curriculums.
Help me provide Wild Robot books and a scientific calculator to create the ultimate STREAM unit!
I want to start the year by reading The Wild Robot, a funny book that kids love. Along its journey, the robot has to adapt to its new surroundings. Next, we will study its surroundings and discover the ways that it has to adapt. Then, we will use our robots to recreate these situations and even plan different solutions to their problems. The scientific calculator will be a tool to help my students code the angles and distances to tell the robot's story. This tool will save time on this coding journey. Please donate to my project and help these future engineers retell the robot's adventure!
