This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These organizational materials, electric pencil and crayon sharpeners, and other items will continue to enhance our literacy-focused classroom. I strive to create spaces in my classroom that students can really enjoy. Students complete writing center activities daily. They work cooperatively but most of the time independently. Every student deserves a writing space that is engaging with materials they need to express their imagination. All of the materials have been chosen with all my students in mind. I have watched over the past few months of school students go without proper materials to support their writing. I feel that the materials are inviting and will allow their imaginations to take off and their creative skills to come through in their writing.
