Help me give my students tools to help me to be able to translate into their language. Also by printing I can expand their lessons by providing lesson materials to help them grow in different ways.
The items I have requested will help a large underserved population of students. The goal I have for this project is to get the bigger items that I need to make my classroom a true learning environment.
The tools I am requesting are things that will help fill the learning gap for my students that are English Language Learners, have learning disabilities and need printed materials.
The Pocketalk Translator will help me communicate with students moving in from other countries. This year alone I have had a Spanish speaker, Ukraine, and Marshall Islands. I need something that I can use quickly to translate conversation to their language. The reader will allow students who have learning disabilities to have text read to them so that they can participate in class discussions. The printer will replace an old printer I have that doesn't work anymore. It is needed to be able to print activities for students so that they don't have to constantly be on screens - they need a variety of activities.
Please help me make these dreams a reality for my classroom so that I can better reach students of all abilities.
