My Project
In teaching personal finance I’m looking to increase financial literacy in my school community. Adding a reading component to the class will provided context that extends beyond our standard curriculum. The benefit of each student having their own copy of the book is that it allows them to annotate while reading; with the goal of greater comprehension. Ideally I’d like to build a library in my classroom of financial literature and I believe that Rich Dad Poor Dad is a great start to that project. Also, having a tangible resource that they can always refer back to is a great takeaway for students.
