My Students
My students are very eager learners. They love to learn about new topics. They are at the age that they are beginning to read to learn instead of learning to read. They love to share what they learn with their friends and their teachers.
They love to read non-fiction books about science and the world around them. They are excited every time they are able to share a new fact they have learned. It is exciting every day to see their eyes light up as they learn more.
My Project
These materials will help the students be more excited about Reading. The magazines are current to the children's world and what is going on. There has been a drastic cut in out science time because of the students needs related to the pandemic school closers. We are trying to intergrade more Science into the reading block. There is also an additional supplement that is all about Science. The science materials will help the children to see a visual of what we are reading about in class. By making the reading more exciting and relevant to the children they will become more engaged in learning.
This classroom project was brought to life by Utah State Board of Education.
