My Project

We need a rug, soft lighting, and seating to create a comfortable reading and calming time area. Students do not have a space to foster reading besides sitting at their desks.

A calm and comfortable area for reading and small groups is essential for academic and social growth.

I would like to transform an area of the classroom into a reading and calming nook that lets the students know reading and self-reflecting are not only important life skills but can also be an enjoyable pastime in a comfortable, student-friendly setting.

With your funding, we can enhance students' lives by building a literacy and emotional awareness foundation they can rely on for years to come.
