I teach forty-four awesome Kindergarten students who are eager to learn.
I have twenty-two kids in my morning class, and twenty-two kids in the afternoon class.
We are all excited to be at a school where the staff lives out our motto each day, "Every Child, Everyday, Whatever It Takes." To do that, we must all work hard make every minute of the two and a half hours the kids are in class count.

I want to create a cozy reading nook in my classroom that will allow children to get lost in a great story book. I need a bookshelf for students to easily select a book from, and comfy chairs for them to curl up and read in.
In kindergarten, there are so many different types of readers. I want to provide lots of different technology to meet the needs of the different reading styles. They will be able to listen to books on tape, CD, and on our iPads.
Our school motto is "Every Child, Everyday, Whatever It Takes." These resources will help me continue to live these words on a daily basis.
I want to instill a love of learning and reading while my students are young. I believe this will help them love reading for years to come.
