This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My classroom is an integrated Co-teaching classroom, which consists of two sections of Mathematics with general education and special education students.
We are a Title 1 school located in a low income community.
Where many students don't have the most basic school supplies. Every single one of my students has a strong desire to learn and succeed. Everyday my co-teacher and I work hard to maximize their learning environment. We work together in a positive learning community focusing on helping each child reach their potential and help them to work hard and achieve their goals.
My students require many manipulatives and visuals to succeed in the classroom. Many times the worksheet and materials my students need my co-teacher and I have to print at home. We would like to be able to provide our students with the materials they need on demand and print necessary supports as needed. We would also like our students to be able to print resrouces themselves from their chromebooks
Watching our students grow and learn everyday is an amazing feeling and we love motivating them to succeed in anything they put their minds to!
My Project
Many of my students require on demand worksheets to meet their level of understanding. Having the ability to print materials to carter to the needs of my students will help with achieving their academic goals as well as their personal goals. This printer will allow students to print work they are proud of and be able to take it home with them as allow me to provide students with an optimal learning environment.
