This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are all amazing children. Every day that I spend teaching them is one more day that I realize how incredible they are.
They all benefit from individualized communication systems and adapted materials in order to access the curriculum and improve communication skills.
Because most children diagnosed with Autism have deficits in their communication skills, it is important to provide then with ample visual supports and visual schedules to help them improve their skills in: processing information. understanding and using language. understanding and interacting with their physical and social environments.
The ink that I am requesting will assist me in printing all these materials and improve their communication skills.
