My students need 2 HP printers and ink to allow them to publish and print their own stories.
This project expired on July 21, 2010.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
The power of the printer is one that cannot be overlooked in an elementary school classroom. My students would love the opportunity to type, edit, and print their own professional looking stories and ideas!
My second grade students attend school in a small, rural district in SW Michigan with a high free-and-reduced lunch rate.
My students enjoy writing their own creative stories but are not able to publish them because we do not have classroom printers!
My school is an amazing place to learn, but we are lacking in the technology department!
My building does not have a computer lab or printers that are available for students to use. My classroom does have three student computers, but we do not have a printer!
If we had 2 Hewlett Packard color printers in our classroom, even the most reluctant writer would be inspired to begin composing letters, stories, and poetry to be printed on our printers!
Not only would having HP printers help my students become excited about producing their own quality work, but it would enable them to become comfortable with word processing technology!
