Help me give my students an Apple iPad Package and Apple Pencil to better communicate our ideas and thinking and to help us build our learning community
I teach an inquisitive, motivated group of advanced fourth graders who learn by questioning and creating. Design and innovation are integrated into all we do, and the goal is to provide hands-on experiences so that learning comes to life. Ours is a collaborative classroom where students work together to make sense of the world around them. Through exploration and problem solving, students are better able to understand and make a difference in the world they live in. Learning in our class is an adventure!
My Project
My students are always looking for ways to better communicate their thinking in the classroom especially during math time. Showing our work and being able to see it projected on the big screen will make our learning visible.
Giving students and iPad and Apple pencil will bring their ideas to life in our classroom.
Seeing one another's ideas will lead to greater discussion and deeper problem solving. Having something as portable as an iPad and Apple pencil will allow students to move around the room and invite others to share their ideas too. The power of the pencil will not only stretch our thinking, it will help us build a powerful learning community.
