Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students at INA come from every corner of the world. We have students from Tanzania, The Dominican Republic, and Afghanistan, just to name a few countries.

Every student in our school has unique story and I would like to bring books into the library that are reflective of their lives and experiences.

Representation does, in fact, matter. When children see characters who look like them, they feel valued and heard. Furthermore, these stories encourage cultural understanding, tolerance, and compassion.

All children deserve access to high-quality, diverse reading materials. Your donation will help expand our library collection!
