My Project

Every afternoon, our program is filled with curious, energetic, and creative students who are eager to explore, discover, and connect with one another. What I love most about them is their enthusiasm for trying new things. Whether they're building, creating, solving problems, or playing a game with friends, they approach each activity with excitement and imagination. They come to our program after a full day of school, and they deserve a space where they can continue learning while having fun.

The resources in this project will help us create that environment.

STEM toys and building materials will encourage critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving through hands-on exploration. Students will have opportunities to design, experiment, and learn through play, building confidence as they discover new concepts.

Our sports and recreation equipment—including playground balls, jump ropes, Frisbees, and a portable disc golf target—will keep students active while developing coordination, teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship. A disc golf target, in particular, will provide an exciting new activity that students of all ages and abilities can enjoy together. They can create their own courses, challenge friends, and practice perseverance while having fun outdoors.

For many of our students, our afterschool program is more than just a place to go after the dismissal bell—it is a place where they feel safe, supported, and valued. These resources will help us provide meaningful experiences that promote healthy lifestyles, spark curiosity, strengthen friendships, and create lasting memories. Your generosity will help transform every afternoon into an opportunity for learning, laughter, and growth through the power of play.
