My Students
I am teaching a class of 28 creative, innovative, and curious fourth graders in San Ramon. My students are learning to be strong leaders and develop personal responsibility inside the classroom and out.
My students love diving deeper into their learning with hands-on activities and engaging discovery opportunities that give them choice and responsibility in their education.
I incorporate a variety of different learning strategies, teaching methods, and seating options to make sure all of the needs of my students are being met. My students love to learn and grow each day!
My Project
You are never too old to be inspired by a picture book! My students and I love to read picture books together to explore new concepts and ideas.
Picture books are especially powerful tools for delivering important and impactful messages to students in an attainable way. These topics lead to meaningful conversations and give students opportunities to make connections to their lives.
These picture books were carefully chosen based on the needs and interests of my students. There are nonfiction books that feature a variety of diverse leaders for students to learn from, as well as fiction books that focus on teaching specific lessons to students of any age!
