Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are experiencing the wonders of art in my classroom, some for the first time ever. Before last year, my school did not have art for six years! Since my arrival, I’ve been working hard at exposing my students to all different materials and types of art.

Your donation of construction paper will benefit my students by allowing them to create colorful, vibrant collages, paper sculptures and drawings.

The skin tone crayons and paper will be used to have students self reflect while creating their own, accurate self portraits throughout the year.
