Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students get extremely excited about reading, art, and science. They especially love funny stories, weird facts about nature, and animals. They also delight in creating artwork.

My students come from all different types of ethnic backgrounds and cultures.

I enjoy finding ways for them to celebrate these differences.

My Project

My students love to paint! They love making their own creations with colors. Our school is in great need of painting supplies. I am requesting gel paint crayons, paintbrushes, paint palettes, and canvases.

I always integrate art with science and literature.

We paint different types of clouds when we learn about the weather. We also paint landscapes of different environments when we learn about habitats and ecosystems. We recreate scenes from stories we have read through drawing and painting.

My students are always excited to create art. They especially love paint. Help me to give the power of paint to my students.
