Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help me give my students mini boards, magnetic letters, and lapboard erasers.
Lately, we have been noticing their interest in letters and as we continue to advance, they are interested more and more in words in their environment.
As a result, I would like for them to have magnetic letters that are easy to manipulate as we used them to create their names and identify its sounds and names. I plan to use this as an early activity and expand more using them with sight words, and classmates names. Additionally, I would like for them to create bracelets using a variety of beads including letters. What a better way to learn about words, letters and sounds.
