My Students
My students are a great group of kids. They are 9th graders with Autism and other developmental disabilities or special learning needs. They need more than a teacher who tells them what to do, they need an adult who will listen to them and work with them on their individual needs.
In the words of Temple Grandin, "Kids have to be exposed to different things in order to develop.
A child’s not going to find out he likes to play a musical instrument if you never exposed him to it."
My classroom assistant and I create a positive and interactive learning environment where our kids know that they are welcome, they are loved, they are appreciated, they are safe and they can succeed.
My Project
Our students enjoy seeing their work displayed. Whether they are working on projects, art, or STEM activities, a laminator will certainly improve the quality and presentation of my students' work.
Our students will be so thrilled when they see their work displayed behind plastic.
Usually, our students' basic notebook pages, artwork, and STEM projects are posted as is, but having a laminator would really spruce up their work.
