The Perfect Portfolio

My students need fastener file folders, multicolored paper, a hot glue gun, and dry erase markers to showcase their work throughout the school year and have a 3rd grade portfolio to take home.

My Students

I have 25 unique and eager students in my 3rd grade class this year. They are curious, creative, and ready to learn every day. We have a wide range of abilities which makes every day full of adventure and fun!

Many of my students' lives have been affected by the drug epidemic in our area, so when they come to my classroom I want to provide a fun, motivating environment for each of them.

Regardless of their individual needs these students love to learn and I would love to be able to give them the tools they need to do so!

My Project

By receiving these file folders my students will be able to not only display their work throughout the school year in our classroom, but will also be able to take home a completed 3rd grade portfolio at the end of the school year.

At the beginning of the school year, I glue fastener folders on our showcase wall.

The cordless hot glue gun will be used to glue these to the wall. Throughout the school year, we add work that students are proud of to their folder to display in the room. We will use the multicolored paper and dry erase markers daily to either learn our skill at hand, or print or write work on to be added to our portfolios. At the end of the school year, I take the folders down and each student has a portfolio of their best work to take home with them.
