This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I my classroom, I want to create a space where students can both take a break when they’re feeling overwhelmed and enjoy the magic of reading in comfort. This project will be a space for both emotional wellness and academic growth.

Young students often need quiet time to reset and regulate their emotions, and having a dedicated area allows them to do that in a respectful, healthy way.

Many of my students thrive when they have a peaceful place to read independently or with a buddy.
