This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Each year brings a whole new set of emotions, and this upcoming year, I am excited to be moving classrooms! This big move requires a few new additions to ensure a smooth school year.
A bookshelf to show monthly picture books and a positive affirmation mirror are just what my students need!
I am so excited to have a classroom with a bit more space, and finally get a bookshelf to display picture books based on theme! My students will get to choose a book based on the heritage month, Language Arts unit, or Social Emotional Learning concept that we are focusing on. This ties into the mirror, that I can't wait to put affirmations around so that my students can always remember to believe in themselves. And, while not as exciting, the file cabinets are a major necessity also! These cabinets will allow me to organize our materials for each unit, so that they can be ready for years to come.
