This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We will use this book as one of our units of study in language arts. My students are English-Spanish multi-language learners that need to develop their literacy skills through conversations, activities, drama-based learning, and projects.
We need each student to have their own copy so we can differentiate instruction and they have ownership over their own learning.
This classic novel is a favorite for third graders, but unfortunately is not easy to find in Spanish. We appreciate your support for my students' rich language, culture, and backgrounds! You will make a difference for this and many more classes to come.
