Help me give my students a computer to research and apply STEM skills.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Nakou's classroom raised $996

My Students
My students are amazing, shy, brave, marvelous, and extremely challenging. They come to school excited, eager to experience an exciting lesson, and refuse anything but excellence. As I try my best to provide magnificent customer service to my clientele, I find that it is never enough to just teach French.
It is a duty and a pleasure to serve every single one of my students and get them ready for college and for life and I am ecstatic to have their voices heard via our classroom projects.
My students and I dive often in hands-on STEM activities as they help foster learning and engagement. As I look up to view the sea of students that I teach, I see a majority of female faces. Yet, my delivery of lessons and the choice of activities that I facilitate doesn't reflect that reality. Inequality should be banned from my classroom. It is time to recognize, nourish, and empower the next generation STEM trailblazers.
My Project
We need a computer capable of storing large files for our newest project. Each year, we travel virtually to various countries to discuss culture. This year, the girls will use the computer to find facts about women trailblazers from their country of choice and share their discoveries using the Podcast that we are starting.
The computer will help the new generation STEM research, create, and manage the recording for the Podcast as they bring relevant news from all over the world.
With your generous donations, you are opening up a world wider for a young mind and ensuring the next generation of women in STEM.
