Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As my students enter their senior year in Fall 2025, this text offers a timely reminder of the complexities surrounding the American justice system. This non-fiction text will provide my students with an interdisciplinary opportunity to look at the overlap between race, justice, and law.
By providing this text to my students, they will be able to engage in conversations around racial justice and law with an informed perspective.
While freedom of speech and thought face regular resistance, providing this text will give my students the opportunity to read verified information and come to their own conclusions.
