My students need exposure to the world around them. I seek to bring the world to my students by exposing learners to a wide range of informative books.

My students are eager to learn about the world around them. In order to provide students with opportunities to see and experience the world around them, I would love to bring the world to them. My group of students are thinkers who will also ask questions to quench their thirst for knowledge. My students seek to learn more about nature, technology, music, social studies, and science. My students are an energetic group of learners who seek to explore and enhance the world around them. I believe education is a great tool to change the world. Changing the world starts with one scholar at a time. I believe it is important for students to have all the materials they need to be successful scholars. When students are prepared to learn scholars tend to succeed.
There are so many cultures around the world. I want my students to get exposure to cultures that they may not otherwise of have exposure to. The most effective way to see the world is to bring the world to my classroom. The Need to Read provides students with a wide range of cultures that are fun and informative. The goal with The Need to Read is to create global citizens who are inspired to be better model citizens and do better rather it be locally or globally. I find that providing a wide range of text, rather informational or historical fiction, provides students with ideas of what others their age may experience in their daily lives. Reading a wide range books from different perspectives will allow students to become compassionate individuals who understand the world around them. Providing learners with various viewpoints will promote compassion and understanding of the diverse world that we live in. I want my students to become global citizens who understand the different aspects of our global society. These books will help pave the way to global citizenship.
